GOD IS A CHRISTIAN

To begin with, the Bible has categorically stated that “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.” 2 Timothy 3:16.
With the emphasis in the Old testament, as recorded in Deuteronomy 29: 29 that “the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, that we might do the things that God commands.”
Therefore, dear readers, if you approach God without bias or preconception, you will be a beneficiary of the secret things of God which are mysteries.
Please enjoy as you read.

A.   Who Is God The Son?
The Bible says:
In John1:1-2 “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”
In John 1: 10: “He (God) was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world Knew Him not.”
In John 1: 14 “And the Word (God) was made flesh (Jesus Christ), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
In I Tim. 3:16  “And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness, GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

B.   Who Is God The Spirit?
The Bible says:
In John 14: 16 “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, hat he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

1)    Who Is Christ?
Ans:  Christ means the anointed One, according to the prophecy of Daniel in Ch. 9:24 “and to seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.”
2)    Who Is The Anointed One?
Ans: The Most Holy.
3)    Who Is The Most Holy?
Ans:  The Most Holy is God.
4)    Why Is Christ The Anointed One?
Ans: In Matt. 3:13-16, when Jesus came to be baptized by John the Baptist, when He was baptized by him and the Holy Ghost like a dove rested on Him, a voice came from heaven that ‘This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.’ This was where Christ was anointed; hence, the most Holy that was anointed is Christ and Christ is God.
Paul wrote in I Tim. 3:16 that “and without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness, GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
This revelation Jesus made to the woman by the well in John. Ch. 4:25-26 “The woman said, I know that messiah cometh, which is called Christ, Jesus replied, I that speak unto thee am He.” The Israelite believed that their Messiah is their God; this was why Christ was crucified.
Then if Jesus is the anointed one, (anointed one in Roman translation is Christ and Christ in Hebrew translation is Messiah). This is the Most Holy or God anointed according to Dan. 9:24, then there is no other God but Jesus Christ.
If CHRIST IS GOD, then GOD IS A CHRISTIAN; there is no way you can separate Christianity from God.
Furthermore, the birth of Christ recorded in Luke 1:35 which says “the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore, that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” established the fact.
This was why Paul wrote to the Colossians in chapter. 2:9 that “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of God bodily,” meaning when we talk of complete God, it is found in Christ.
In Hebrew 2:11, the writer wrote “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.”  He called them, ‘the Christians’ his brethren: he cannot be separated from his brethren since the head cannot be parted from the body.
In Matt. 22: 42 – 45, Jesus asked them saying “What think ye of Christ? Whose son is He?” They replied, the Son of David.  He saith unto them, how then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, the LORD said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then calls him Lord, how is he his son? Though the Pharisee could not provide an answer, it was provided in Romans 1:3 “concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh,” that is the Son of David naturally.
In as much as you cannot separate effect from the cause, ‘Christ’ is the cause, while ‘Christian’ is the effect and as such Christ cannot be separated from Christianity.
In fact, GOD IS THE FIRST CHRISTIAN as he identified Himself with Christ at his baptism.  This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, He confessed Christ and Christ called us his brethren.
If Christ is the head of the body which is Christian, then He is a Christian.
Out of Christ, who is God, comes forth Christianity and Christianity cannot be parted from God, this is why Christianity is a person – Christ Jesus. Therefore it is a VERY WRONG assertion to say that GOD IS NOT A CHRISTIAN.
II Tim. 2:13 says “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful, he cannot deny himself.” In human endeavour, you are the first asset; you must believe in yourself before you can do anything substantial. God is the first person to present Christ to the world to believe: in other words, what he first did, he recommended to the world. If God asks you to do something, He must have been doing that thing and if God says you should not do something you will not see him do it. Hence, He is the first Christian, before he then presented Jesus to the world. He cannot deny himself, he remains faithful to himself.
In Acts 11:26 “the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”  Acts 26:28 says Agrippa told Paul that, “almost thou persuade me to be a Christian.” He understood that if he believed what Paul preached about Christ, he would become a Christian.  The Biblical translation of Christian is ‘ADHERENT OF CHRIST’. If Adherent of Christ is the meaning of Christian, then, God must be the first Christian ‘first born over all creation’, according to Col. 1:15 and He is the Head of the body ‘the Church’ and Christianity. Believing in the work of grace instantly makes you a Christian – a member of the family of God, i.e. you are adopted into God’s family.  It is blessed to be a Christian.
Other names of Christian, I Pet. 4:16 – ‘Christian’, Acts. 14:2   - ‘brethren’,    Acts. 6:12   - ‘disciples’, Acts. 9:13  - ‘saints’,  Rom. 1:7  - ‘beloved of God’,  Rom. 1:1, James 1:1, Jude 1:1, Rev. 1:1,  - ‘servants of Christ’,   II Pet. 1:1 – ‘apostles of Christ’,  I Tim. 4:12  - ‘believers of Christ’,  Acts. 20:28 - ‘church of God’, Acts. 9:14, Rom. 10:13 – ‘those that call on the name of the Lord’, II Chronicles 7:14 ‘my people’, James 2:7 – ‘that worthy name’.
